Ice Fishing:

True Canadiana!

As ice thickens on Rocky Mountain Lakes to over 12 inches, the ice fishing season has officially begun. Come with us as we drive over the lake to our favorite areas of the lake. Drill holes, stoke the stove with dry larch and wait for the rod tips to bend over!

Rainbow Trout are still active under the thick ice and are a lot of fun to catch!

On the day trip, after lunch we stop at Lussier Hot Springs for a quick dip in the therapeutic hot pools next to the glacier fed Lussier River.
